      Yes, absolutely!
      Already about 2% of Europe’s electricity comes from offshore wind energy and that is only going to grow in the next years.
      Apart from wind, the waves and tidal currents also have a lot of energy. In fact, the ocean waves have more energy than the entire world’s electricity needs. Unfortunately, it is still very expensive to make electricity from waves, which is why that’s not happening a lot yet. In the next years though the technology will start getting better and Ireland will probably be one of the first countries that will get electricity from waves!
