      Yes! In high-density cities like Bangkok or Delhi, the atmosphere will be so much healthier for those living there is cars did not create smoggy emissions!

      Absolutely!
      Greenhouse gasses from cars and trucks are about 20% of all the greenhouse gasses put in the air in Ireland. So if more people will start driving electric cars and have their batteries charged with renewable electricity than that will reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses produced here.
      Besides that, petrol and diesel engines also produce other harmful gasses, not just for the environment but also for us humans! So, more electric cars will give us cleaner air 🙂

      They help but only as a short-term solution. While they are assumed to help reduce the CO2 emisssions, they are often charged with not so clean energy (like burning fossil fuels). Moreover, production and recycling of batteries have serious environmental side-effects. It’s a good step forward but we need to come up with a better long-term sustainable solution- maybe you would like to work on that?
